Mini-laparotomy
Mini-laparotomy

A mini-laparotomy is done to permanently prevent a woman from becoming pregnant. This procedure requires one cut (incision) in the pubic area. The dotted line on the figure shows where the cut is made, and the dotted lines on the fallopian tubes show where the tubes are closed.
