When to See a Doctor
You have answered Yes to:Do your eyes hurt, or do you have new vision problems?
See significance of vision problems if you need information to help you answer the questions below.
Review health risks that may increase the seriousness of your symptoms.

Call your health professional immediately if you answer "Yes" to any of the following questions.

Do you have severe pain in one or both of your eyes after being in the sun?
Have you had partial or complete vision loss or blurred vision for more than 30 minutes after getting out of the sun?

Call your health professional today if you answer "Yes" to any of the following questions.
- Yes
- Yes
- Yes
Do you have moderate pain in your eye, such as a scratchy, gritty sensation?
Are your eyes sensitive when you look at light (photophobia)?
Have you had mild pain in your eyes for 24 hours or longer?
If you have answered "No" to the above questions, go back to Check Your Symptoms and continue to answer the questions to evaluate your symptoms.
