When to See a Doctor

You have answered Yes to:

Do you have bruising around your nose or eyes?


See significance of bruising if you need information to help you answer the questions below.

Review health risks that may increase the seriousness of your symptoms.

Do you have bruising around your eyes, but you have not had a direct injury to your eyes or forehead?

Yes

Do you have bruising behind one or both ears, but you have not had a direct injury to your forehead or ears?

Yes

Do you have any clear drainage from your nose after an injury?

Call your health professional today if you answer "Yes" to the following question.

Yes

Did a lot of bruising develop within 30 minutes after a nose injury?
