Have you had a fainting episode that lasted for more than a few seconds, but you are feeling normal now?

Call your health professional today if you answer "Yes" to any of the following questions.
Note: The following symptoms should get better in 4 hours with home treatment measures and drinking fluids. If symptoms do not get better in 4 hours, call your doctor today to talk about your symptoms.

Do you feel faint or lightheaded?
Do you feel lightheaded when you change position, such as moving from a lying position to a standing position (orthostatic hypotension)?
Is your skin pale, cool, and moist?
If you have answered "No" to the above questions, go back to Check Your Symptoms and continue to answer the questions to evaluate your symptoms.
