What Affects the Test
Reasons you may not be able to have the test or why the results may not be helpful include:
- If your fallopian tube has a spasm. This may make a normal fallopian tube look blocked.
- If the doctor cannot put a catheter in the uterus.
This test is not done on women who are having their period, are pregnant, or have a pelvic infection.
