Another load of crap!! Example: Where are the "savings" using dishrags if they have to be washed "at least three times a week?" It's cheaper, more sanitary and more environmentally friendly to usr paper towels.

Your recommendations are all born out by scientific findings. Don't listen to a handful conservobots.

Some of the recommendations to keep vs toss is just bunk. They just trying to get us to buy MORE STUFF. I use my old toothbrushes til there's nothing left...great for cleaning small cracks and crevices..also good for getting to dust in small areas..just spray bristles. Great grout cleaners. I put thru dishwasher...and use later for eyebrow brushes. Bad hairbrushes can break more hair than anything. I end up using as a pet brush. One doesn't give kids a mercury thermometer..duh!! And, adults ought to know how to use and when to throw away. And they say to toss "anti-freeze"? OMG. Why throw away until have to?

I don't agree about tossing antibacterial soaps. For years I've suffered boils, ingrown hairs, cysts, etc. in the groin area. I have found that if I use the antibacterial soap in that area, not only has it eliminated most of these problems, but I feel much "healthier" in that area. This is especially true in the summertime when sweating in that area grows bacteria at a phenomonal rate. I also use on my face as I have cysts pop up every now and then. Using the antibacterial soap has helped to reduce the number of acne cyst I get on my face.

antibacterial soap kills bacteria, the good and the bad. They say to toss it because of the fact it kills the bacteria that HELPS your body fight off infections. Basically when you use antibacterial soap you are allowing yourself to get more infections from bad bacteria.

ISN'T IT ENVIRONMENTALLY INCORRECT TO "TOSS" ANY OF THESE THINGS?
