....lived one single day with this kind of pain...and some women do not have any pain, only cannot ever get pregnant....horrible disease!

      Branblessed1 08:40:18 PM Oct 30 2008

after stopping the taking of birth control pills when i was in college b/c i was sick of them making me so nauseous for 2 hours in the morning (tried every brand since i was 16 b/c of how severe my periods were) the pain grew worse and worse with every period....by the time i was only 22, and only after going to 6 different gynes for the diagnosis i was finally diagnosed properly....yes the other were correct by saying i had polycystic ovarian disease and there was nothing i could do about it, i also knew my own body and the pain was spreading...through laparoscopy (belly button) is the only way to diagnosis this dreaded disease! i was stage 4 at 23!!! it can bind your organs together, my ovaries were connected to my intestines, stomach wall, and my bladder and uterus!! imagine the pain! after the surgery, i was very blessed to marry my soul mate and get pregnant, which only put it into temp. remission...now, at 28 i am totally disabled from it! no one should ever judge unless they hav

I was diagonised with Endometriosis when I was 17 and also and Ovarian Cysts. I battled with the pain for many years. When I was 24 I was blessed with a wonderful son. My doctor told me that I probably wouldn't have anymore trouble with the Endomertrosis once he was delivered, but unfortunally I still had it. When I was 34 I wound up having to have a total hysterectomy because of the Endometriosis. So YES you can still get PREGANT with this condition.

Endo happens when a woman has her period and not all of it comes out...some of it somehow gets into your cavity that houses all your organs.....after many years of trying to get pregnant....after testing....discovered I had endo....had the surger to take care of it...immediately started trying to get pregnant again and suceeded....then back on the pill...the pill controls the amount of bleeding when having your period that's why it controls the endo....but it doesn't cure it.....they don't even know how it happens.....I had it on one of my ovaries and it had attached itself to the side of my stomach cavity...they removed the endo and wraped my ovary in gauze so that it wouldn't happen while I was trying to get pregnant...you can have children....after stopping the pill you have to try immediately to get pregnant as fast as you can because the more periods you have the more endo you have....I now have two beautiful children that I am grateful for every day.....so all hope is not lost...

I lost my battle with endometriosis at 33....after years of pain, and three operations. The fourth operation was a hysterectomy. I would not wish this disease on my worst enemy. Before jumping to conclusions, do the research, talk to people who have been through it. It’s no picnic. I never had a chance to meet the babies that I had dreamed of since my childhood.

I haven't read any of the other comments, but I watched the show the other night when Julianne announced she was having her appendix removed the next morning. You don't remove an appendix when you have endometriosis.
