This nonprofit organization, which is associated with the American Headache Society (a professional society of health care providers), publishes information about the treatment and prevention of headache, offers an online physician finder and a list of support groups, and sponsors public education campaigns.

National Headache Foundation

This nonprofit foundation provides information to people with headaches as well as to their families and health care providers. It publishes a bimonthly newsletter, a list of member physicians, and a variety of brochures and other educational materials for its members. National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)

This institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, provides a wealth of information on neurological disorders, including headache.
