Other tactics for coping with headaches


While medications are the backbone of treatment, other approaches may reduce the frequency, intensity, or duration of your headaches. Even if these techniques don't provide complete relief, they may enable you to cut back on your medications. However, check with your health insurance provider before trying any of these therapies, because some may not be covered. You may also want to discuss them with your doctor ahead of time.
