What are the possible side effects of loratadine?
 | Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. |
| Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: |
- fast or uneven heart rate;
- feeling like you might pass out;
- jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes); or
- seizures (convulsions).
Less serious side effects may include:
- headache;
- nervousness;
- feeling tired or drowsy;
- stomach pain, diarrhea;
- dry mouth, sore throat hoarseness;
- eye redness, blurred vision;
- nosebleed; or
- skin rash.
This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any unusual or bothersome side effect.
