What does my medication look like?
Hydroxyzine is available with a prescription under the brand names Atarax and Vistaril. Other brand or generic formulations may also be available. Ask your pharmacist any questions you have about this medication, especially if it is new to you.
- Atarax 10 mg--orange, triangular tablets
- Atarax 25 mg--green, triangular tablets
- Atarax 50 mg--yellow, triangular tablets
- Atarax 100 mg--red, triangular tablets
- Atarax Syrup 10 mg per 5 mL (1 teaspoon)
- Vistaril 25 mg--two-tone green capsules
- Vistaril 50 mg--green/white capsules
- Vistaril 100 mg--green/gray capsules
