What should I avoid while taking hydrocodone and ibuprofen?


dizzy This medication can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert.
donot Do not use any other over-the-counter cold, allergy, or pain medication without first asking your doctor or pharmacist. Many medicines available over the counter contain ibuprofen or similar medicines. Read the label of any other medicine you are using to see if it contains ibuprofen, ketoprofen, or naproxen.
noalcohol Avoid drinking alcohol while taking hydrocodone and ibuprofen. Alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding caused by ibuprofen.
dizzy Tell your doctor if you regularly use other medicines that make you sleepy (such as cold or allergy medicine, other narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression, or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by hydrocodone.
