What are the possible side effects of clonidine transdermal?
| Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. |
| Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: |
- a very slow heart rate (fewer than 60 beats per minute);
- severe skin irritation, redness, swelling, burning, or blistering where the patch is worn; or
- feeling light-headed, fainting.
Less serious side effects may include:
- feeling dizzy, drowsy, tired, or nervous;
- headache;
- constipation;
- nausea, unusual taste in your mouth;
- sleep problems (insomnia);
- decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm;
- skin rash or irritation where the patch is worn; or
- dry mouth or throat.
This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any unusual or bothersome side effect.
