Foods That Burn Ab Fat
New Flat Belly Foods
Cynthia Sass, MPH, RD, spends hours in supermarkets. As a registered dietitian, Prevention's Grocery Guru, and coauthor of Flat Belly Diet!, it's her job to wade through the 20,000-plus new foods and drinks that hit the shelves each year. Here are her new favorites.

These items are quick, healthy, easy , and delicious. Plus, they're all belly flattening! That means they either provide 200 calories or less per serving to help you lose weight, or they're chock-full of one or both of these belly-fat-attacking nutrients: MUFAs (monounsaturated fatty acids) and whole grains.
Several studies reveal that a diet rich in MUFAs may help reduce belly fat and increase fat burning in people with larger waistlines. And, a new study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that whole grains may help you lose twice as much belly fat.
These foods are more than weight loss aids -- they can help you meet your health goals. And rest assured, they're not "processed," even if they do come in packages. Happy shopping!

If you can't find this in your grocery then just stick to fresh foods (very little canned, frozen or processed), whole grains, lean protein and no soda/cola/pop or juice. Fresh baked goods when wanting dessert, not processed ones (go to the bakery section when you have the sweet tooth not to processed snacks like little debbie cakes). Lots of water, fresh brewed coffee and red wine in moderation and you are off to go! You will be healthier than 90% of America.

It said that that pasta, the third one, makes 12 cups cooked out of just 2 ounces? Is that a typo or is it true

Read all food labels. The manufacturers in America are putting toxic High Fructose Corn Syrup in nearly ALL foods. I was horrified to discover this when buying Waverly Wafers crackers. It is in cereals, ice cream, cakes, frostings, fruit bars, candies, sodas, etc. It causes false hunger and creates a poisoned liver which cannot metabolize food and so the person eats more and gets obese. Google this online and read for yourselves. Eat organic, whole grains, veggies, fruits and skip the junk food. Exercise daily, even if it is only walking. Add 100 steps each day and see the difference. Cut portions to a dessert sized plate. Consume 5-6 SMALL meals to keep your blood glucose level. Drink plenty of water and green tea also is excellent. Skip diet pills, etc.Dr. K.N.

I've been dieting since mid-April and am down 30 lbs. Had been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes earlier this year because I was 60-70 lbs. overweight. I began dieting and exercising daily (6 days a week). I was a couch-potato and did not (and still don't) like to work out. But now, after just 30 lbs. gone, my recent bloodwork indicated the diabetes is gone with no trace of it in my system and I am down 2 dress sizes! If I can do it, anyone can. Eat lots of vegetables, lean meats and don't skip meals. No white rice, white bread, sugar or pasta. Whole grain rice, breads and pastas are fine. If you stick to it, it works!!! Cary
