Slim Fast Diet Food
Our Reviewer Says ...

"Slim-Fast is likely to yield the same results as other low-calorie plans, with added convenience."
What You Can Eat
By Amy Paturel
Dieters eat at least 1,200 calories a day consisting of Slim-Fast meal bars, Slim-Fast shakes, Slim-Fast soups and Slim-Fast pasta entrees. The meal replacement products take care of two meals each day and the third meal is (you got it), a sensible dinner. Each of these “meals” provides balanced nutrition with one-third of the recommended daily intake for most essential vitamins and minerals. The Optima products deliver a carb-controlled version of the same. As for the sensible, self-created meal, it logs in at about 500 calories and is meant to follow certain guidelines: half of the plate should be loaded with vegetables, one-fourth filled with lean protein and one-fourth with starch. Dieters can also indulge in a salad on the side and fruit for dessert and they can munch on Slim-Fast snack bars (130 calories each) or real food like fruits, vegetables, fat-free yogurt, nuts, pretzels or air-popped popcorn.
