Neris and India's Idiot-Proof Diet

Our Reviewer Says ...

idiot proof dietShaun Webb, Neris Thomas and India Knight

“Nearly all of the weight-loss tactics introduced in the book—from drinking more water to measuring yourself regularly—are tried-and-true principals most people have heard before. However, the book is written in an extremely conversational way that many women may find entertaining and easier to relate to than typical diet books.”

Neris and India’s Idiot-Proof Diet is a high protein, low-carbohydrate plan that consists of three stages: The first stage is a two-week program that has dieters follow a fairly strict meal plan—although they do offer some substitutions. The second stage is a nine-week program that follows the same high-protein, low-carb guidelines, but gradually introduces other foods, including all vegetables, chocolate, alcohol and seeds. The third stage is a life-long commitment. Dieters continue adhering to a high-protein, low-carb plan, but are allowed to have many higher-carb foods—such as certain fruits and starches—twice a month as a treat.
