Like most doctor-drafted diets, the Fat Smash plan emphasizes fresh produce, whole grains, lean meats, fish and poultry, and healthy fats. During the early detox phase, dieters will load up on fruits and vegetables, chickpeas, tofu, brown rice, low fat milk, oatmeal and egg whites. But no meat, bread, cheese, coffee or alcohol are allowed. The foundation and construction phases feature more foods including cereal, soups, salads and chicken and fish dishes.
