Madonna
The Material mom has stirred up quite a bit of controversy (nothing new for her!) over her arms this year. As Madge flashes her totally ripped guns, some say the 51-year-old's arms are simply gorgeous, while others say they are just too muscular. Which ever camp you reside in, you've got to give the reigning Queen of Pop props for maintaining such a phenomenal figure. Madonna maintains her awe-inspiring body with a strict macrobiotic diet high in soy and unprocessed foods. Trainer Tracy Anderson also leads her through a total upper-body workout using only three-pound weights to chisel more definition.

Jessica Biel
If you had to fight off all the girls flirting with your boyfriend, wouldn't you want the buffest biceps possible? When your lover is Justin Timberlake, you better come out swinging. To get into fighting shape Jessica Biel has followed a strict diet that bans sugar, dairy and salt. To keep her metabolism purring, the gym-going gal eats mini meals every three hours, and sticks to weight-lifting workouts in addition to hiking and biking, and walking her mutts in the canyons around LA.

Michelle Obama
Forty-four-year-old Michelle Obama may be married to the leader of the free world, but both President Barack Obama and the missus make time (5:30 A.M. or earlier!) to hit the gym and perform weight machines and cardio four times a week. Led by longtime personal trainer, Cornell McClellan, Michelle's regimen features body-sculpting calisthenics, such as push-ups, overhead presses and other sports-specific advanced moves, done at a heart- wrenching pace that blitzes calories. The whole Obama clan has gone on the record with their regular exercise balanced diet, and the First Lady's defined triceps are proof of their commitment to healthy living.

Sheryl Crow
Over the past few years this songstress adopted sweet son Wyatt, handled a major breakup with cyclist Lance Armstrong and survived cancer. But none of those life changes has slowed down the super-sculpted 47-year old. Crow stays fit and healthy with daily runs or bike rides. She even credits her ex Armstrong with teaching her to love mountain biking. "For me, it's very meditative," Sheryl has said, "I head out around 10 and finish at 12:30, doing about 45 or 50 miles." The Grammy winner has also exercised with celeb trainers Rich and Helene Guzman, where she mastered pull-ups and stability ball exercises for her upper body, including incline planks and pikes (where your hands are on the floor but your feet are on the wobbly ball).

Jada Pinkett Smith
The petite 5-foot-2 Jada is married to box office hero Will Smith, fronts a gal band called Wicked Wisdom, mothers three young ones and stars in her own TV show, but she still carves out time for exercise -- especially yoga. The 37-year-old has said, "As I've gotten older, the gym's not good on my joints. I do a lot of activities outside. I do a lot of hiking, I love to run, and I'm surfing now ... I've got to keep up with my kids." The added bonus of doing downward dogs and chasing after kids? One amazing pair of tiny and toned arms.

Jennifer Lopez
This mother of twins is constantly working, but the 40-year-old always makes time to train for triathlons and weekly sessions with top celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson in Los Angeles. Peterson has gone on the record with J-Lo's hour-long regimen: A 10-minute cardio warm-up and then a series of high-intensity aerobic blasts paired with strength and resistance exercises, such as upright rows, lunges, squats and barbell upper-body work. The fashionista eats 1,200 to 1,400 calories day, mostly lean proteins and fruit, veggies and grains.

Julia-Louis Dreyfuss
"The New Adventures of Old Christine" star is a hardcore runner who trots at least four days a week (four miles a pop) and lifts weights to attain that firm 48-year-old form. Wife and mother of two sons, Henry and Charles, when time is tight Julia hops on her elliptical machine at home -- the kind that has resistance handles to tone her upper body.

Jennifer Love Hewitt
When the "Ghost Whisperer" cozied up to beau Jamie Kennedy at the Emmy's, did you see those toned-up triceps? After she was criticized for sporting cellulite at a Hawaiian beach, Jennifer is now savoring her bikini-worthy body. The Texas-native told US Weekly that she works out with a trainer to jump rope, walk-run hills on the treadmill and swim at least three days a week. In addition, the Hewitt uses kettle bell-shaped free weights for upper-body sculpting, and performs bicep curls, triceps kickbacks and full-body planks.
