Who is affected by venous skin ulcers
About 1% of all adults develop skin ulcers on the lower part of their legs. The majority of leg ulcers are venous skin ulcers.1
People who are most likely to develop venous skin ulcers:2 1
- Are women.
- Are over age 65.
- Have venous insufficiency due to various causes.
