Symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia

Paranoid schizophrenia causes many fears due to misinterpretations of what is going on around you. For example, you may be afraid of someone who acts very nice because you fear the person is trying to win trust only in order to take advantage of you.

Sometimes there is some basis for the fear. You may remember a time when someone was nice but then stole medication or pressured you to have sex.

Sometimes this extreme fear can lead to attacks of other people or destruction of property.
