Other conditions with symptoms similar to Sjögren's syndrome
Sjögren's syndrome is a disease that causes dry eyes and mouth. Several other health conditions have symptoms similar to Sjögren's syndrome, including:1
- Infections, including influenza, mumps, and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
- Sarcoidosis.
- Tumors.
- Diabetes.
- Dehydration.
- Radiation treatment in the past to the head and neck.
