Mild soap

Mild soaps do not contain any harsh ingredients and are not irritating to the skin. Mild soaps can be bought in most food, drug, and health food stores. Use a soap that does not contain artificial fragrance.

Mild soaps usually contain ingredients that soothe and refresh your skin, such as:

  • Witch hazel or aloe vera.
  • Vegetable and herbal oils such as evening primrose oil, olive oil, or coconut oil.
  • Chamomile and lavender.
  • Rosemary and peppermint.

Some people can become sensitive to the ingredients in mild soaps.
