Folk remedies for warts

Examples of folk remedies for warts include:

  • Putting a banana peel or garlic on a plantar wart at night.
  • Rubbing a wart with a bean.
  • Applying milkweed juice, lemon juice, castor oil, or vinegar to a wart.
  • Washing a wart in morning dew.
  • Wishing a wart away.

Although there is no scientific evidence that these methods are effective in curing warts, there is no risk in trying them.
