Cramping abdominal pain
Cramping abdominal pain is a type of pain that comes and goes or changes in position or severity. It can be very uncomfortable but is rarely serious if it is relieved by passing gas or having a bowel movement. Constipation and diarrhea, which often can be relieved by home treatment, are common causes of cramping abdominal pain.
