Reducing risk-Exercise daily

Exercise can reduce your risk of a variety of health problems - from cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, and osteoporosis, to cancers of the colon, prostate, endometrium, kidney, and breast (in postmenopausal women). Aim for 45 minutes per day of devoted exercise time. In our busy world, most people do not feel they can set aside time for formal exercise, especially intense workouts. In fact, any physically active undertaking will contribute to health if it is part of an active lifestyle. Exercise can be as simple as a brisk walk. Make it enjoyable by asking a friend or family member to join you. And remember to do the extras whenever you can - take the stairs, walk around the office, etc.
