About Stephanie Booth
Stephanie Booth holds a Master's degree in English from the University of New Mexico and a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College in Boston.
A freelance writer for the past nine years, her articles -- which range from health and travel stories to first-person narratives, personal essays, investigative features and profiles -- have appeared in a number of national magazines including Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Parenting, Real Simple, Seventeen, Self, Shape, and Time Out New York Kids, as well as in The Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and online at Salon.
A former contributing editor at Teen People, Booth also served as an advice columnist for Teen magazine and a casting assistant for MTV's "True Life" reality TV series. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband, a photojournalist, and their two children.
