Laura Colarusso is a freelance journalist based in Cambridge, Mass. She is a jack-of-all-trades reporter who covers health and wellness issues as well as a variety of other topics that include veterans' health care, global warming and the federal budget. She also covers the metropolitan Boston area for The Boston Globe.

Colarusso graduate cum laude from Columbia University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and was captain of the varsity tennis team. She will be returning there this fall to attend the Graduate School of Journalism.

In her spare time, Colarusso enjoys playing tennis, running, Pilates, yoga and going on picnics.
