Based on interviews with people who suffer from back pain, this book provides many practical tips on how to find relief and what sort of treatments to avoid. The authors have also written a book about exercise for back pain.

The Back Pain Book: A Self-Help Guide for Daily Relief of Neck and Low Back Pain Mike Hage, M.S., P.T. (Peachtree Publishers, 2nd revised edition, 2005, 250 pages)

Written by a physical therapist, this book offers advice on how to perform daily activities and exercises for the long-term improvement of back pain.
